About Me

Lesley Cameron BSc Hons MAR

I have always had an interest in complementary therapies so much so that I changed my career whilst bringing up my family. Since being introduced to Reflexology and Indian Head Massage many years ago I have regular treatments myself which I believe help keep me healthy and balanced. I am now qualified in various complementary/holistic therapies because I have been so impressed with how I feel after treatments. I have qualifications in Hot Stone Reflexology, Facial Reflexology, Reflexology Lymph Drainage (developed by Sally Kay) and Mindful Reflexology to support individuals with stress, anxiety and depression. My aim is for you to feel better physically and mentally after your visit with either a course of treatments or a one off treatment. I have completed a training course at the Christie Hospital in Manchester - Adapting reflexology for cancer and supportive care and I am a regular volunteer offering Reflexology and Indian Head Massage at the Focus cancer care unit in Cheltenham General Hospital. I have also undertaken a course in Reflexology for Women's Health.

I am a mum of two boys and they have both been guinea pigs whilst I was training and now enjoy regular treatments! It’s great to have the tools to help with the upheaval of growing up! It is also great to have the tools to deal with the stresses and strains of life which we all feel at some point or another. Prolonged stress can lead to so many health issues and I am a firm believer that taking time for yourself to relax and look after your body is a necessity not a luxury and can help keep us healthy and happy along the way. Covid unfortunately saw a rise in anxiety amongst individuals and complimentary treatments have been invaluable to people to reduce their stress response over time. It is even more important to be proactive with own health and wellness as the NHS is so stretched at present.

My background in Home Economics and the food industry has enabled me to understand the importance of nutrition and looking after ourselves, and I have always been drawn to helping and supporting others to feel better in themselves. Holistic therapies take into account the whole person and therefore it is important to complete a consultation before treatment so I understand more about your lifestyle and any current health issues you may be experiencing

I love trail running and yoga and generally being active with my family and friends and my black labrador Nala and I try my best to look after myself – but life sometimes gets in the way and I can honestly say that regular Reflexology treatments have helped me have an optimistic outlook and remain healthy as best I can. Why not see what I can help you with? If you are not sure whether reflexology is for you why not try a taster session first? Treatments can also be mixed and matched depending on your preference.

All treatments are carried out in my therapy room at home in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham with parking available. I treat female clients only. Please see my website for further details but don't hesitate to contact me with any queries you may have before booking. I look forward to meeting you.
